Your Role
The Digital Operations - Marketing team supports the Customer Experience and Digital Transformation Business Unit. The Product Manager, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Operations. In this role you will support compliance & regulatory reporting, mandated projects, and all interoperability requirements for 3rd party API’s and interfaces for Pay to Payer and State and Federal Provider interoperability requirements.
Your Role
In This Role, You Will:
- Articulate business goals, strategies, and logic across internal and external teams
- Articulate operating model and approach to agile team, business partners, and stakeholders
- Identify operating model opportunities
- Structure strategic conversations and contribute to product strategy development
- Advise and collaborate on user test creation and setup
- Align user needs with company objectives to achieve product outcomes
- Collaborate and ensure alignment with vendor partners for product outcomes
- Independently convey product thought leadership clearly through written and verbal communication
- Enabling and encouraging others to share their perspectives when appropriate. Participate and actively engage in resolving agile team blockers and conflicts in a timely manner
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure business outcomes
- Understand and manage one's emotions as well as those around them to effectively communicate, empathize, and overcome challenges
- Telecommuting within normal commuting distance of the office is permitted but must come to the office when needed
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- Requires at least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Consultant or other role in Health Care (managed care, academic, or government payer)
- Requires knowledge of Payer to Payer and Patient and Provider facing third-party application consumable Interoperability APIs
- Requires at least 3 years of experience working with California state agencies and the ability to ensure web and mobile compliance with State and Federal healthcare oversight agencies
- Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant agile implementation and compliance experience
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at an executive level (Director, VP and above)
- Requires deep knowledge of agile and project management skills
