This position resides within the Global Treasury organization and is responsible for AXP Treasury New Product Approvals (NPA) process, coordination, and reporting inclusive of continued process improvement. This position also works in close coordination with the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team as FTP is critical in evaluating the economics of new products.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Support analysis of new products and product changes to evaluate Market, Liquidity, and Capital impacts for AXP and AENB
  • Work in close collaboration with the various Treasury teams to collect and synthesize impact analyses given each New Product submitted
  • Act as representative for Treasury in New Product Approval forums, including relaying relevant information/impacts back to Treasury teams
  • Work closely with Project Guardian workstreams (where applicable) to ensure alignment of Treasury NPA process with corporate uplift efforts
  • Prepare reporting for New Product Approvals on an as needed basis to relevant Committees and be responsive to other ad hoc requests
  • Incorporate evaluation of New Products with FTP marginal and average rate forecasts to provide sound economics back to Product teams
  • Enhance the FTP process for evaluating New Products to create a repeatable, scalable method of sound cost-benefit analysis
  • Enhance documentation of processes where needed and create robust standards of procedure to demonstrate a well-controlled end-to-end process

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Finance or Treasury experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively with a record of driving results
  • An analytical mindset coupled with strong process management skills and ability to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements
  • Knowledge of technology platforms such as Oracle Management Reporting tools, TM1 and reporting tools such as Tableau
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Highly motivated and effectively works independently within a team construct, while supporting teamwork and achievement of team objectives

Minimum Qualifications

 

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
