Roles & responsibilities ​

We are recruiting for a Senior in the Financial Service Audit team in Ireland. In this team, your responsibilities will include leading a team of experienced professionals, perform reviews and work on Audit engagements of KPMG Ireland team in Financial Service clients. In addition, you will be required to: ​

Audit complex sections of the financial statements especially of Financial Service clients​

Undertake smaller and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a AM.​

Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders ​

Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with onshore teams to the entire team ​

Review the audit work performed by the subordinates and coach them ​

Prepare and present audit workpapers, document audit procedures and audit findings.​

Identify issues/missing information, manage & track the open issues until resolved.​

Educational Qualifications ​

Work experience :​

Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)​

The candidate must have 1 to 3 years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big4 accounting firm​
