This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM AEDT with an hour unpaid break (8 hours per day / 40 hours per week) 

Overview:

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to develop and implement social media strategies across multiple business units, focusing on growing brand awareness, engagement, and community interaction. The successful candidate will manage content creation and audience engagement for three web stores specialising in label printing solutions, edible printing systems, and time-lapse camera technologies.

This role will be responsible for building an authentic brand presence across Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms, aligning each channel’s messaging with the target market - from small businesses in the food, beverage, and manufacturing industries to creative professionals and project managers in construction and media.

The Social Media Specialist will collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to create content that drives engagement, educates audiences, and highlights product use cases. They will plan campaigns, analyze results, and continuously optimize strategies to meet KPIs related to growth, reach, and conversions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for each product category and webstore.
  • Create engaging and educational content, including posts, graphics, short videos, and user-generated content spotlights.
  • Manage and grow brand communities through regular posting, comment interaction, and audience engagement.
  • Track and analyse key performance metrics (followers, engagement, impressions, and conversions).
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align social content with promotional calendars and product updates.
  • Identify trends and opportunities in the industry to position the brand effectively.
  • Monitor competitor and customer activity across social platforms.
  • Prepare monthly reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts, preferably for eCommerce or B2B brands.
  • Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, visual design, and basic video editing.
  • Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Canva, or similar social media management tools.
  • Excellent understanding of engagement growth strategies and audience analytics.
  • Ability to tailor content to diverse audiences across different industries.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of paid social campaigns is a plus but not required.
