This is an on-site position.
This role will support the Cost and Schedule Analysis Department in the Navy Aviation Division at MANTECH.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing industrial base capability assessments completed by the prime contractor and contributing to the coordination and justification of investments to strengthen and sustain capacity and delivery of the program specific manufacturers & suppliers
- Working closely with USG program leadership and prime contractor leadership to develop, prioritize, facilitate, and monitor project objectives including development of weekly status briefings on progress and analysis of critical path and project effectivity
- Supporting the development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to forecast and track project milestones and ensure project timelines support overall program objectives, and as necessary complete critical path and variance analysis
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking mitigations for project and program risks
- Assessing contractor analysis of industrial base capabilities and providing a summary analysis with recommendations. This may include collaboration and coordination with program support activities such as Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL), Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain Analysis, and Manufacturing & Quality (M&Q)
- Contributing to the development of Statements of Work (SOW) and complete technical evaluations of contractor proposals
- Taking initiative with limited direction while working both independently and with various functional disciplines within and outside of the Program Office to include various levels and agencies of the DoD
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time in one (1)-week increments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in areas related to Math, Science, Statistics, Business, Management, or Engineering and 4+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree and 4 years of additional professional work experience, or a High School Diploma and 6 years of additional professional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience using MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word)
- Experience with manufacturing and/or supply chain operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in areas related to math, science, statistics, business, management, or engineering
- Knowledge and familiarity with Aerospace & Defense Industrial Base
- Knowledge and familiarity with DoD Acquisition Lifecycle
- Knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing & supply chain operations in a military acquisition environment
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance to start
Physical Requirements:
- Tasking is primarily computer based must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS)
The projected compensation range for this position is $106,900.00-$177,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
