Who We’Re Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Leader to build a focused market strategy for our Data and Analytics practice. This role requires someone who can operate comfortably in front of CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and business leaders in the banking and insurance industries.
As a Sales Leader, you won't just sell "bodies and hours"; you will sell Solutions and outcomes—powered by cloud, data platforms, AI/ML, and modernization—often packaged as accelerators and reusable software frameworks.
You will combine executive presence with hands-on technical fluency to shape solutions, build business cases, and close multi-million-dollar engagements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, deep knowledge of the market, and a passion for technology that solves real business problems.
Role And Responsibilities:
- Own and Grow Revenue: Achieve company growth objectives by building and executing strategic account plans for named Tier-1 and Tier-2 BFSI accounts.
- Identify and Close Deals: Run a disciplined enterprise sales motion (e.g., MEDDICC/Challenger) from discovery and value hypothesis to solution design, business case, executive alignment, and closing, with Quota and Margin Targets.
- Lead Technical Solutioning: Conduct executive-level discoveries to translate business problems (e.g., fraud risk, data fragmentation, time-to-market) into architected solutions. Confidently whiteboard and explain architectures across cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks), and AI/ML.
- Propose Assets & Accelerators: For each opportunity, lead a framework assessment to include a solution shell or accelerator (with a perpetual license) in the proposal alongside services.
- Be the Face of WorldLink: Position WorldLink as an industry leader and trusted advisor to the market. Earn trust with senior stakeholders through clear communication and co-creation workshops that map future-state roadmaps.
- Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Enterprise clients, especially with C-level executives.
- Drive Thought Leadership: Co-author case studies and white papers, and secure client speakers for industry events to showcase success.
- Collaborate and Strategize: Partner with Account Managers, Channel sales, and delivery leadership to ensure optimal performance. Assemble and lead the right pursuit team (architects, SMEs, delivery leaders) and own the deal strategy end-to-end.
Required Experience And Education:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and client management, with a proven track record of driving business expansion.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant business development experience selling IT services.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar.
- Deep familiarity with banking and insurance processes: KYC/AML, payments, lending/underwriting, wealth management, claims, and risk/regulatory reporting
- Track Record of Closing $1-5M+ deals and expanding strategic accounts; confident in leading RFPs and complex MSAs/ SOWs.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to speak architecture across:
- Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP landing zones, networking, IAM, and security
- Data & AI: Snowflake/Databricks, data modeling, MLOps, GenAI/RAG, and vector stores.
- Apps/Integration: Microservices/APIs, Kafka, container orchestration, and DevOps/CI-CD.
- QE/ Automation: approach to test strategy (e.g., iQE type frameworks), performance and security testing.
- Risk/ Regulatory: working knowledge of KYC/AML, PCI DSS, SOX/GLBA, GDPR/CCPA, and model risk (e.g., SR 11 7).
- Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging business leaders and executive sponsors at large enterprises.
- Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXOs of leading organization.
- Experience with competitor mapping and SWAT analysis.
- Executive Presence: Credibility and confidence interacting with senior buyers and C-level executives.
- Sales Craft: A consultative storyteller who can build compelling, data-driven value cases (ROI/TCO). Proficient in sales methodologies like MEDDICC or Challenger.
- Team Captain: Ability to orchestrate architects, SMEs, delivery teams, and partners to drive a deal to closure.
- Builder Mindset: A self-motivated individual who creates repeatable plays and continuously refines them to scale success.
- Exceptional Communicator: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to produce board-ready proposals.
