:AXA Ireland is seeking IFC IFRS Implementation Officer for a 24-month FTC to support the development, testing, and monitoring of the Internal Financial Control (IFC) IFRS Framework within our Risk Management team. Reporting to the Operational Risk and Control Manager, you will gain valuable experience in internal control activities, ensuring ongoing compliance and supporting the effectiveness of control processes across the organization.

The Main Responsibilities Will Involve:
- Prepare comprehensive process documentation for the IFRS IFC Framework, including risk assessments and control mitigation strategies.
- Design and perform control testing (Control Design & Operational Effectiveness) within the IFC Programme scope.
- Support the preparation of progress reports, updates, and documentation on IFC activities.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions to promote awareness and understanding of IFRS IFC controls.
- Maintain organized records of all documentation and activities.
- Build a solid understanding of IFRS and IFC processes, controls, and policies.
- Support tracking of progress, issues, and escalation reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners such as KPMG.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, integrity, and continuous improvement aligned with AXA’s values.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a financial services accounting or risk-related role.
- Degree or diploma qualification, or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or QBE.
- Experience supporting operational risk or internal control frameworks within financial services.
- PQ or qualified ACCA, CIMA, or QBE.
- Progress towards relevant risk or internal control professional certifications.
- Credible, professional, and trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Resilient, calm under pressure, and solutions focused.
- Collaborative team player and relationship builder.
- Curious, commercially minded, and aligned with AXA’s purpose and values.
- Good understanding of IFRS accounting principles and willingness to learn and develop technical IFRS expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of risk & control frameworks, policies, AKCs, EUCs, and audit methodologies.
- Understanding of finance and operational systems and processes.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
