Position Summary
- The Sales Data Analytics Analyst is responsible for building and deploying actionable and best-in-class reports and models to measurably improve the Sales force's effectiveness and overall outcomes. The Sales Data Analytics Analyst works with business partners to provide consultative and direct support to assist the processes and methods to increase the effectiveness of analytics. The Sales Data Analytics Analyst will be part of a team which occupies a unique position with a focus on applying advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization to support the full sales network as an agile and innovative delivery powerhouse.
Responsibilities
- Partners with the business to provide consultative and direct support to develop wholistic and accurate data sets to accelerate and leverage advanced reporting.
- Uses project management and problem-solving skills to manage customer orders and ensure applicable policies are followed, terms and conditions are met, escalations are resolved, and invoices are correctly issued.
- Identify areas of improvement with data management, order processing, and the customer experience and work with the broader organization to implement solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Operations Research, Project Lifecycle Management, IT Systems, Statistics, Engineering or related technical field or combination of equivalent education and work experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 1-2+ years of professional coding knowledge or equivalent.
- 1-2+ years experience working in data environment and building queries or equivalent.
- Detail-oriented.
- Action-oriented and eager to drive for results.
- Be able to learn and pick up new skills and knowledge quickly.
- Proficiency and application experience in data analysis, business intelligence, simulation, and optimization.
- Attention to detail in execution, gets into the weeds to fully understand the problem and can quickly identify errors and road blocks to achieving success.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Experience working with SQL, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerBI, Excel preferred.
