Provide managerial oversight for the ERP production support team, and builds relationships with DPS business units to provide district-wide services and user support around the use of business enterprise systems. Included in these responsibilities are day-to-day management of a team of Application DBA’s who are responsible for database-related maintenance of our Infor products as well as other 3rd-party products (e.g., Infinite Campus, Tririga, etc.) and custom developed applications.   What DPS Offers You:

  What You'll Do:
  • Full HR responsibility for ERP production support team.
  • Partners with district functional departments and other ERP support organizations to ensure that the ERP systems meet business requirements and goals, and fulfills user requirements.
  • Ensures that ongoing ERP upgrades and system roadmaps align with enterprise infrastructure lifecycle planning.
  • Ensures that ERP integration with other district systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
  • Develops processes, standards, and procedures for team alignment with the overall business ERP needs.
  • Leads the evaluation, installation, configuration, and deployment of post-implementation ERP upgrades to existing applications.
  • Assists with contract negotiations with ERP software and service providers as needed.
  • Defines criteria for outsourcing, choose outsourcing vendors, and manage outsourced vendor relationships.
  • Ensure that other business applications meet DPS requirements and goals, and fulfill user requirements.
  • Ensures that upgrades and system roadmaps to other DPS business applications align with enterprise infrastructure lifecycle planning.
  • Prepare annual budget requirements for team and systems supported.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
What You’ll Need:
  • Minimum education level of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. 
  • Typically has seven (7) to ten (10) years of IT and business work experience including managing team(s) in systems analysis and/or programming functions. 
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of working with Oaracle is a plus.
  • Experience handling confidential information with a high degree of integrity. 
  • Skillful attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Proven experience and skills to quickly learn new systems and applications. 
  • Experience troubleshooting, isolating and diagnosing problems. 
  • Experience working with systems that support human resources, payroll, benefits, financials, and procurement processing. A deep understanding of Oracle security, development, functional suites, upgrades, and implementations is highly desired.
