In this senior individual contributor role, you will lead the creation of seamless, user-centered experiences for our datacenter and other high-priority enterprise applications, partnering closely with product management, engineering, and customers. You’ll play a hands-on part in shaping solutions that exemplify excellence, helping OAL set the standard for enterprise software experiences Oracle employees depend on every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of user experiences for Oracle’s datacenter and high-priority applications—ensuring solutions are intuitive, innovative, and grounded in real user needs.
- Serve as a hands-on advocate for design-led thinking, driving clarity and simplicity across complex workflows in CX, ERP, HCM, and Oracle Health.
- Own the end-to-end design process from discovery, definition, and design through to delivery—ensuring a seamless and user-focused outcome at every stage.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and customers from day one—collaborating side-by-side to refine goals, define requirements, and deliver meaningful impact.
- Drive user research, usability testing, and in-depth interviews to uncover user goals, pain points, and behaviors—translating insights into actionable design concepts.
- Rapidly create and iterate on concepts and prototypes, validating each step with both end users and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are valuable and feasible.
- Deliver a spectrum of design artifacts—including user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and high-fidelity prototypes—that clearly express the design vision and guide implementation.
- Leverage Redwood (https://redwood.oracle.com/), Oracle’s unified design system, to promote consistency and scalability across all touchpoints—collaborating effectively with diverse, global teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Advanced working knowledge of Figma.
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching, or leading junior designers.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Strong interest in designing for complex enterprise software rather than consumer apps or websites.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead design discussions and use storytelling to convey design intent.
- Hands-on experience with user-centered design methodologies, such as field studies, usability tests, expert reviews, and surveys.
- Effortlessly switch between various UX disciplines: user research, interaction design and visual design.
- Willingness to travel within the US for user research or meetings as needed.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
