The Global Corporate Banking (GCB) Client Engagement and Events team is dedicated to delivering world-class client events. Working in a dynamic environment you will play a key role in the event strategy bringing strong data analytics and support to execute impactful events. 

As a Events Management Senior Associate within the Global Corporate Banking Client Engagement and Events team you will play a key role in supporting the Event Strategy across North America. In addition, you will work closely with Event Strategy Managers to manage, analyze and report on attendee data related to events, as well as support the team to execute impactful events, leveraging both strong data analytics and hands-on coordination skills. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects at once, with a particular focus on data management and analysis for high level national events. Additionally, you will provide general support for a variety of programs and initiatives across the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and support the GCB Events team in the strategic development of holistic proprietary event programming; assist with annual planning activities (competitive research, planning decks, budgeting).
  • Support the invitation and RSVP process, ensuring timely communication with attendees;  generate and distribute RSVP reports before, during, and after events.
  • Provide support to Event Strategy Managers on high level national and other select events, including internal communications, RSVP lists, briefing templates, name badge production, collateral development, packing/shipping of event supplies, and on-site support.
  • May play a lead role on select simple events as well as onsite support with larger programs across the team.
  • Assist on special projects as directed by the Head of North America Events, including data management and attendee registration for high level national events.
  • Collect, clean, and validate event-related data from multiple sources (RSVPs, attendee lists, registration platforms).
  • Scrub and maintain marquee event lists to ensure accuracy and completeness; analyze RSVP trends, attendance patterns, and engagement metrics to inform event strategy.
  • Work closely with Event Strategists to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Respond to data requests and support ad-hoc analysis for special projects.
  • Assist team with updating Event Tracker and other master calendars as needed and assist in developing scorecards for select high profile events.
  • Create and maintain a “speaker bureau” of topics and assist with both building and maintain additional resource tools. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing and events.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as hands-on experience with various CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities; must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability, professionalism, integrity, and judgment.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to communicate clearly across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work early morning and late evening events; some travel required.
  • Strong ability to navigate and analyze complex data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
