Every sale, deployment decision and adoption process that our customers do is directly influenced by a demo at some point. Our team works to make that customer interaction a success by providing a demo service that all of Microsoft can leverage for all our Security products.
To enable this we’re looking for a Technical Product Manager 2 to join our Demo Services team. Specifically, we are looking for a candidate that can keep our operations running smoothly and constantly drive our automation effort forward – all while maintaining the highest levels of security and compliance. This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, technical execution, and operational efficiency. You’ll be responsible for managing demo tenants, driving automation initiatives, enabling internal users and ensuring our environments are secure, scalable, and easy to use.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation workflows to streamline tenant management, demo hydration, demo operations and reduce manual effort.
- Own the lifecycle of shared demo tenants, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure demo environments meet evolving business needs.
- Monitor usage, performance, and reliability of demo services and proactively address issues.
- Develop documentation and training materials to support internal users.
- Stay current on Microsoft Security products and integrate them into demo environments where applicable.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud security operations or related technical product management roles.
- 2+ years hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 or Azure tenants.
- 2+ years experience in automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Power Platform, Terraform/Bicep).
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Security products such as Intune, Defender, Purview, Sentinel, or Entra.
- Experience working in internal services or enablement teams.
- Background in enterprise IT or cloud infrastructure.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, CISSP or CompTIA CASP+

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
