Our NewLaw practice was recently established to guide legal departments, law firms, and the public sector through their legal transformation journey. We specialise in legal consulting, legal technology, and legal managed services. You will join a team that is on a steep growth trajectory to be the market leader in legal transformation in Singapore.

The legal industry faces disruption from digital transformation, new entrants, regulatory changes, social and environmental issues, and evolving client expectations for value, diversity and access. PwC Singapore’s NewLaw practice has been established to guide legal departments, law firms, and the public sector to navigate these transformative forces through our consulting, legal technology, and managed services offering.

To expedite our growth and meet the service demand from our clients, there is an opportunity to join one of our fastest growing team in a new global line of service at PwC. You will work closely with the NewLaw leadership team on a variety of exciting clients, as well as lead team members with a wide variety of experiences and be involved in decisions that will shape PwC Singapore NewLaw’s future vision.

How will you value-add? 

As a NewLaw Contract Lifecycle Management Senior Manager in the practice, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead end-to-end CLM transformation: Spearhead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions, driving digital transformation initiatives that streamline contract processes and enhance organisational efficiency. 
  • Strategic alliance management: Responsible for driving strategic partnerships and managing key technology alliances to maximise business growth and value creation. Formulate Go- to- market strategy and oversee joint business planning, enablement and governance activities while fostering collaboration across internal and external teams 
  • Practice Development: Contribute to the growth of the CLM practice by developing sector-specific use cases, thought leadership content, and reusable assets that showcase the firm’s capabilities and successful client outcomes 
  • Work with the team on go to market initiatives to build the pipeline and test different business development strategies 
  • Work with the team to develop new services that will support our clients in their contract transformation journey 
  • Analyse current contracting processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement through contract playbooks, contracting process, and contract lifecycle management implementation 
  • Design and implement contract process improvements, using appropriate methods and tools, such as process mapping, flowcharts, diagrams, simulations, and prototypes 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and levels, to understand their needs, expectations, and feedback, and to ensure alignment and buy-in for process changes 
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of process improvements, using relevant metrics and indicators, and report on the results and outcomes 
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to contract process owners and users, to ensure smooth adoption and compliance with process standards and best practices 
  • Research and benchmark contract management best practices and trends in contracting process improvement, and propose new ideas and initiatives to enhance contracting process performance and customer satisfaction 
  • Develop and implement the contract lifecycle management strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with the senior management, legal department, procurement department, and IT department 
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend contract lifecycle management solutions that enhance the efficiency, quality and value of legal services, such as document automation, contract management, process optimisation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics  
  • Ensure the legal technology solutions are implemented successfully through structured change management program  
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments and best practices in the legal technology field, and participate in relevant networks, events and forums 

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in law, computer science, information technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • At least 15 years of professional experience, with at least six years in contract management, process consulting, or digital transformation roles. Proven track record of leading large-scale CLM or Source-to-Contract (S2C) implementations.  
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with leading CLM platforms (e.g., Icertis, Sirion, Conga, ContractpodAi) and S2C solutions (Ariba, Zycus, GEP) and familiarity with AI-driven contract automation tools 
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Certification in Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in various legal technology solutions and platforms, such as document automation, contract management, practice management, matter management, artificial intelligence, and data analytics  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and requirements into clear and concise business terms and outcomes 
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and expectations of the firm and the clients 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative 
  • Continuous learning and improvement mindset, with the ability to seek and apply feedback and new knowledge 
  • Certifications: Relevant CLM or process improvement certifications (e.g., Icertis ICM Professional, Sirionlabs CLM Consultant, Six Sigma Green Belt) are highly desirable
