HR Generalist

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Istanbul, responsible for supporting the efficient execution of HR processes and contributing to the implementation of global HR initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

•  Prepare and issue general correspondences as requested such as replying to speculative employment enquiries;
•  Assist with the administration of employee benefits;
•  Assist in the maintenance and development of HR Policies and Procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose;
• Contribute to ad hoc HR projects and assist with the implementation of Global HR initiatives within the Human Resources;
• Maintain employee files both electronically and paper files to enable easy retrieval of information;
•  Maintain accurate records on the HR Information System ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality to provide up to date staff data and management information for reports, spreadsheets etc.;
• Support the administration of annual pay review, bonuses, employee survey and HR statistics;
• Embrace the principles of anti-discriminatory practice throughout all areas of work;
• To be an ambassador for the company at all times internally and externally;
• Comply with Fatal Risk Standards, Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices, ensure responsibility for safety and discipline in work area and report accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures.
• The above outlined responsibilities are not exhaustive and you may be required to carry out other tasks that are appropriate to your role in addition to these.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor degree in management, social sciences or relevant fields.
• Very good command of English, Previous experience in HR systems and very good command of Ms Office applications and digital tools where needed.
• 5 years and above is preferred.
• Having the Job Function Technical Knowledge and Skills     
• Strong written and verbal communication and questioning skills;
• Appreciates that projects need to be completed, with a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure;
• Uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance;
• Uses own initiative and can work independently and takes responsibility for own work;
• Good research skills in order to disseminate information and produce reports and conclusions appropriate for the audience;
• Good quality organisational skills;
• Records information accurately and pays attention to detail;
• Understands and implements processes;
• Builds appropriate professional and accessible relationships with employees and line managers;
• Resilient and able to work in an organisation that is undergoing change due to development  and growth;
• Enthusiastic, energetic and keen to develop the skills necessary to work within an HR environment and makes good use of the opportunities to develop within the role;
• Good cultural awareness due to contact with global offices;
• Appreciates and understands the need with confidentiality in dealing with all HR and training issues; 
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Business Objects, Visio, Microsoft Office & Outlook;
