Position Description:
Existing dashboard, metrics, reports are being transitioned into Reporting Services to support strategy of having a centralised FDO team offering all reporting related services to stakeholders.
A sesnior role is required to support the transition and lead the team to facilitate the stakeholder reporting requests.
Required Expertise: Combines Business Analysis/ PMO skillsets with technical skills in data visualization tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI, DataIku), and a solid understanding of backend data architecture.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a business analyst and leadership skillset with a desire to have a mixed role. Must have experience working as part of complex, cross functional, global projects with 5-8 years' experience.
This role resides within the Firmwide Data Office (FDO) department, team located in Budapest. Role looks after Reporting Services in general and supports the Fleet initiatives following Agile setup (Squad/Program support).
We are looking for a structured, highly organized individual with the ability to self-manage, work with a level of ambiguity and has a pro-active approach. The role requires a structured, organized thought process managing multiple priorities. Will need to be able to work in a complex environment and as part of a large scale global, fast paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Work with business leads/Product Owners, various control teams, compliance and other partners to define scope, objectives, timeline and plan.
- Drive execution across multiple locations and consulting providers to deliver on BaU Reporting Services; extension of BaU scope and leading on tooling build out Division's adopting functionality to enable their move to BAU
- Provide guidance to cross divisional teams
- Work with Technology to draft and shape user stories to drive tooling required for Reporting Services to transition into BAU
- Create and manage scope through metrics, driving execution through Business working groups
- Have the ability to lead working group, stakeholder meetings driving execution
- Be able to understand complex deliveries and be able to describe approaches gaining buy-in across the Firm
- Create plans, risk and issue tracking, stakeholder management using an agile and flexible approach
- Ensure successful execution of request, including driving any required escalation, resolution of resource gaps/dependencies while meeting all required change management controls
- Proven ability to build strong presentation materials and tell the story to drive action
- Demonstrate superior judgment to mitigate risk. Foster an environment where risk/controls are anticipated and proactively addressed.
- Management reporting including creation, collation & publishing of regional & functional dashboards
- Ensure ongoing alignment with other inter-dependent projects and initiatives across the group
- Measure outcomes to evaluate post-implementation benefits realization and lessons learned
- Work with geographically dispersed teams
- Leadership skillset, including people management - might have direct reports involved
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills Required:
- Around 5-8 years of Financial Services industry experience with a solid understanding of core banking products.
- Around 5-8 years related business analysis & project management and delivery experience with evidence of participation in change management and continuous development projects within a complex global organization, preferably Financial Services
- Ability to create detailed user stories, working with users and developers to refine and groom so the user stories are ready for development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to act as a bridge between several business areas
- A proven influencer with strong interpersonal skills, able to interact at all levels to drive successful outcomes in line with business and operational management globally
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
- Great communication and influencing skills, team player, self-starter, demonstrated strong work ethic
- Ability to educate senior management stakeholders on agenda and objectives
- Ability to work in a team environment, build and maintain a network of contacts, and coordinate with a large number of stakeholders across the business and technology
- Demonstrates initiative, judgment and decision making
- Strong understanding of Project Management concepts, SDLC methodologies and Operating models (Agile & Waterfall)
- Experienced in JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Project with overall ability for presentation-building
- SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Python are advantages
