As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
As a Planning Innovation Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Google's global infrastructure. Your core mission is to create the assets, infrastructure, and capacity plans necessary to support the massive growth of Google's global production network. You will be the key driver for developing and executing complex, multidisciplinary programs that directly enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our network. This role demands an understanding of network technologies and a passion for innovation in a dynamic global environment. You will serve as a recognized subject matter expert, contributing vital insights to the broader network planning community within Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives to maximize network scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring product deployment and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI).
- Identify infrastructure challenges and innovative solutions to improve network planning across all domains.
- Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders (i.e.,engineering, product, architecture) to navigate ambiguity and implement planning strategies.
- Serve as the team's recognized subject matter expert, staying current on network technologies and developing best practices.
- Utilize data analysis and modeling to forecast future demands and clearly articulate planning strategies, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
