About The Role:

The DevOps/Technical Lead is responsible for leading DevOps activities for systems migration projects and ensuring stable environments through automation and configuration management. This role encompasses AWS infrastructure management, automated configuration management, containerization, infrastructure as code, security scans, test automation, CI/CD pipeline development, continuous delivery, and production deployments. The Technical Lead will work closely with DevOps, Security, and other technical teams while driving continual advancement in technology using collaborative and creative agile environments.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead DevOps activities for systems migration projects and ensure environmental stability
  • Manage AWS infrastructure and implement automated configuration management
  • Implement and maintain containerization solutions and infrastructure as code practices
  • Conduct security scans and implement test automation frameworks
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
  • Oversee production deployments and ensure reliability
  • Manage cloud infrastructure tasks and collaborate with DevOps, Security, and technical teams
  • Support systems operations using DevSecOps tools and open-source technologies
  • Drive continual advancement in technology through collaborative agile environments
  • Implement latest technologies and industry best practices for efficient solution delivery
  • Perform and automate administration activities
  • Lead and collaborate with development teams on continual process improvement
  • Conduct investigations and analyses to provide recommendations for technology improvements
  • Identify and implement development best practices
  • Mentor team members on DevOps practices and tools

Required Professional Skills:

  • Deep knowledge and experience in APIGW technology tool stack
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale systems applications
  • Strong expertise in AWS infrastructure management
  • Proficiency in automated configuration management tools
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools and practices
  • Experience with security scanning tools and vulnerability management
  • Understanding of test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices
  • Proficiency in open-source tools and technologies
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
  • SAFe Agile Certification required

Preferred Professional Skills:

  • Experience with federal government projects
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA)
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms
  • Background in healthcare IT systems
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with related experience required
  • SAFe Agile Certification required
  • Extensive hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices
  • Proven track record managing complex infrastructure environments
