We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team. This individual will play a critical role in providing executive-level insights through dashboards, deep-dive analyses, and modeling to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with advanced technical skills, able to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Annual Salary: $115,000-145,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Reporting & Dashboards
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards to provide real-time insights for senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timeliness of reporting across multiple business functions.
  • Departmental Reporting
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly departmental financial reports.
  • Partner with department leads to explain variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
  • Analytical Insights
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on key revenue streams, including Advertising Sales and Subscription/Reader Revenue.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Modeling & Strategic Support
  • Build financial models to evaluate new business initiatives, strategic partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
  • Support scenario planning and forecasting for executive decision-making.
  • Systems & Tools
  • Leverage financial and business intelligence systems, including Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle, and Hyperion, to streamline reporting and analysis.
  • Drive enhancements in reporting processes through automation and data visualization.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards to provide real-time insights for senior executives and leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or related finance roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in Tableau (or other BI tools), Salesforce, Oracle, and Hyperion.
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear insights.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset, with a focus on driving business impact.
