What You’Ll Do
As the Customer Service Administrator, you will support the Operations Team with day-to-day administrative tasks which include but are not limited to:
- Responding to customer queries in a professional and timely manner
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and drivers
- Coordinating container deliveries and liaising with transport providers
- Managing pallet reconciliations, internal reporting, and documentation
- Entering and maintaining data in the MPI system to ensure compliance
- Supporting general office administration, including filing and data entry
- Ensuring compliance with stock control procedures and identifying non-conformance
- Maintaining accurate records and following written procedures
- Assisting with ad-hoc operational tasks and contributing to a positive team environment
- Upholding attendance standards and being punctual and prepared for assigned shifts
What Experience and Education You Need
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, drivers, and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Teams
- A proactive and adaptable approach to changing priorities and operational needs
- Basic understanding of MPI requirements and compliance procedures (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods with frequent interruptions
- Regular movement including sitting, standing, reaching, and bending throughout the day
- Manual dexterity for typical office tasks such as typing, filing, and handling documents
- Talking, hearing, and seeing are essential for effective communication and task completion
- May require occasional travel by car or plane for business purposes
- May involve visits to warehouse environments, including areas with cold storage temperatures at or below freezing
- Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of items up to 10kg
- Use of various electronic tools and systems for data entry and communication
