Embark on a journey with the Syndication Team within the CIB Global Structured Finance SBU, focused on structuring and distributing large, complex loan transactions by coordinating multiple lenders to share risk, optimize capital, and ensure efficient execution and ongoing management of syndicated deals.

Your responsibility will be to assist the Head of Global Structured Finance in implementing the Syndication strategy by proactively drive syndication activities by leading a team focused on developing and maintaining sustainable, financially viable alliances with Finance Institutions (FIs) and loan & trade finance investors. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing MCB’s market presence and supporting its growth ambitions through effective deal origination, execution, and relationship management.
In this role you will,
- Lead relationship strategy by overseeing the development and management of strategic relationships with FIs, legal advisors, and external consultants to support market prospection and syndication efforts;
- Represent MCB in negotiations, networking missions, and industry events to enhance visibility and promote the bank’s syndication capabilities;
- Act as the Internal Advocacy by championing FI partnerships across MCB, ensuring alignment and collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate deal origination and execution;
- Assess and recommend innovative alliance opportunities with FIs, aligned with business strategy and market trends;
- Identify underwriting opportunities, propose pricing guidance and distribute assets within prescribed risk appetites;
- Lead and syndicate financing transactions in collaboration with our coverage and structuring teams, ensuring structured execution and investor engagement;
- Oversee secondary trades for loans and trade finance products using standard market agreements (LMA, BAFT);
- Maintain active dialogue with investors to gauge market appetite and inform syndication strategy;
- Supervise coordination with the CIB Middle Office to ensure smooth execution of disbursements, fee payments, settlements, and transfers.

We are looking for a candidate who has:
Either
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any equivalent quantitative subject;
- 8 years' experience in banking with an international exposure;
- 3 years' experience at a managerial level and interaction with Financial Institutions in syndicated lending.
Or
- 10 years' experience in Banking with an international exposure;
- 5 years' experience at a managerial level and interaction with Financial Institutions in syndicated lending.
A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
