The Role

Our placements provide an opportunity to really learn how a business works. During your placement you will be hands on from day one, you will be actively involved in business projects and your experience and knowledge will be utilised and strengthened during the 13 months with us. You’ll be based in our Weymouth office, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to real business outcomes.

We have an opportunity for you to join this incredible business and have an active role in our Projects & Processes team. This team plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and improving how we work across departments.

This role covers a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Contributing to process improvement initiatives across the business.
• Supporting project planning, scheduling and reporting of activities.
• Managing clear and focused communication to business stakeholders.
• Helping with the management of risks, issues and opportunities associated with project delivery.
• Learning how to apply structured project management tools and techniques in a real-world setting.

You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, collaborate effectively and grow professionally.

About You

Enabling the digital world offers enormous scope to develop your career beyond traditional ideas of progression or promotion. Enabling is always evolving. We want to hear from enthusiastic individuals who are currently studying for a degree in Business, Project Management or other relevant areas, such as Engineering, who has:

• A strong interest in project management, business operations or process improvement.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• A methodical approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Confidence using tools like Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• A willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll be supported throughout your placement with mentoring, training, and opportunities to develop your skills, all while contributing to meaningful projects that support ASMPT’s mission.
