About The Role:
The Senior Project Manager (Minor Capital Works) provides management direction for the delivery of key Capital Works projects. The role oversees and ensures the timely delivery of quality developments, minor capital works, and infrastructure and portfolio planning within budget to deliver on FRNSW infrastructure and strategic priority commitments
About You:
- Managing multiple, concurrent capital works projects of varying scope and complexity to meet time, budget, quality, and milestone requirements.
- Balancing stakeholder expectations and priorities across diverse teams while ensuring effective consultation, negotiation, and engagement within agreed timeframes.
- Maintaining compliance with FRNSW policies, legislation, and government guidelines, while proactively managing risks and staying current with regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience managing minor capital works or similar building/infrastructure projects in government, regulated, or comparable environments, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project management, construction, engineering, or related fields.
- Strong project management skills covering the minor capital works lifecycle, including procurement, tendering, contract and risk management, safety compliance, and strict adherence to statutory requirements, NSW Building Codes and Regulations, State Environmental Planning Policies, Australian Standards, quality assurance practices, and OH&S legislation.
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence and willingness to travel across the state by road and air, including overnight stays, as required to perform the role
