About The Role

The Digital Operations Coordinator ensures DeakinTALENT’s operations are digitally enabled by maintaining our platforms and delivering a positive user experience for students, graduates, staff, and employers. This role coordinates the team’s day-to-day operations and works closely with vendors and internal tech teams to resolve platform issues efficiently. It also supports the Graduate Employment team by gathering requirements, refining processes, and developing training and knowledge resources to drive technology adoption, streamline operations and strengthen the University’s graduate employment strategy.

As a Digital Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and oversee the work of the Digital Services Officers, fostering their growth through feedback, support, and development opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring sustainable outcomes and the effective management of resources, time, cost, and quality.
  • Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on stakeholder needs, and provide expert advice and coordination of data management practices across the Division, including analysis and synthesis of data to generate insight.
  • Distil the core issues from complex information, draw accurate conclusions and condense complex information and next steps into simple concise terms that others can understand.
  • Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including technology partners, to ensure platform upgrades are delivered and critical issues are resolved in a timely manner.

To Be Successful, You’Ll Have:

  • A Degree in a computer/technology-related discipline with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Career Management Systems managing large sets of customer/ student records (Targetconnect and/or Careerhub experience preferred).
  • Experience in managing escalation processes, including resolving complex issues and coordinating with external vendors or other teams for support and interventions.
  • General knowledge of the platforms/tools used across the Higher Education sector to support students and graduates (for example, Targetconnect/Careerhub, D2L, ServiceNow, Jira, MS Office 365, etc.)
