We are now looking for

Ops Flow Supervisor

with a proactive, team player spirit to join our Operations Control Center (OCC) as an Ops Flow Supervisor. In this role, you are responsible for Finnair customer, transfer, and turnaround processes in cooperation with all parties involved. You will be supervising Finnair traffic plan on the day of operation in cost-effective manner, as well as reporting and continuously improving processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the production plan and enables execution of the production plan.
  • Proactive decision making of all turnaround and flow management related areas to enable reliable and optimized production plan.
  • Leads and monitors all processes regarding aircraft turnaround.
  • Make sure that customer promise is fulfilled in cooperation with all relevant parties.
  • Responsible for analyzing and providing daily performance, deviations and reporting them with development proposals.
  • Take actively part in process improvement together with the team.

Key Competencies And Experience:

  • Good understanding of service management processes and their relations to punctual operations.
  • Proven track record of capabilities to lead people from all levels of organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and capabilities to inspire, influence and motivate people.
  • Ability to lead own work under high pressure in tight timeline.
  • Good spoken and written skills in Finnish and English.
  • Strong co-operation skills in a team and with various stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in airline operations or relevant ground handling background.
  • Strong knowledge of airline's operational core processes and their relations.
  • Punctual internal and external communication skills which reflect Finnair values.
  • Capability to work with mobile IT tools and basic understanding of ERP (Emergency Response Plan).
  • Flexibility with willingness and ability for shift work.
