Clinical Concierge

Job Overview:

The Clinical Concierge is responsible for basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner, and procedure authorizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

Clinic Duties

• Schedule Injections and MRIs
• Check out patients
• Answer the telephone and handle calls in a timely and friendly manner including appropriate documentation of the call
• Obtains insurance authorization and verifies coverage prior to patients appointment, notifies patient of the current status
• Work effectively with staff
• Communicate with physician’s staff to ensure quality of care
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures ( HIPAA- OSHA)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications/License:

None

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

1-2 years of medical office experience preferred

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with computer skills including experience with practice management software desired.

• Travel may be required to existing or new TOI locations.
