C#/.NET Software Developer

Description

Kanawha Scales and Systems is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented C#/.NET Software Developer to join our dedicated team in Poca, WV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and customizing our software solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative/Team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code within the .NET framework.
• Integrate data storage solutions, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to gather requirements and customize our base software products.
• Manage software deployment and create installation packages using InstallShield.
• Apply knowledge of network administration to support software functionality and deployment.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with C# and the .NET framework.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, replication and performance tuning.
• Solid knowledge of network administration principles and practices.
• Proven ability to customize existing software products based on diverse customer requirements.
• Proficiency with InstallShield for creating software installers.
• Must be able to work on-site at our Poca, WV office.
