Team Overview

This is a new role within the marketing team that reports into the Senior Marketing Manager for ANZ. On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of marketing content and creative assets for use across DiDi’s owned marketing channels. The role will be responsible for assisting in the ideation and execution of marketing initiatives, including writing campaign comms, and using creative design tools and systems to develop creative output.

Role Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities:

  • Marketing planning. Support team with ideation for upcoming marketing campaigns and initiatives. Capture all incoming marketing requests, document agreed plan of execution and support implementation.
  • Supplier management. Support day-to-day management of relationships with our agency partners to ensure regular and comprehensive communication between teams, including regular WIP’s, reporting, and visibility across upcoming campaigns. At DiDi we see our suppliers as an extension of our business, and so it is critical we maintain a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration with our partners in order to deliver the best output.
  • Owned channel comms. Support the delivery and implementation of owned channel marketing comms (eDM, Push notification, In-app) with development and writing of campaign comms bespoke to agreed marketing channels and aligned to over-arching brand guidelines.
  • Creative asset development & design. Utilising creative design tools and software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma) and following established brand guidelines, develop and produce final creative assets for use across owned channel marketing comms (eDM, Push notification, In-app) 
  • Measurement & Reporting. Support marketing team in measurement and reporting requirements for all campaigns and marketing initiatives. Proactively communicate learnings, news and insights with the team and relevant stakeholders
  • Marketing Operations & Brand Protection. Ensure all marketing operations policies and procedures are followed and that budgets are managed within agreed limits and plans. Ensure consistent application of DiDi brand guidelines in creative across visuals, copy, tone of voice and distinctive brand assets in all consumer-facing communication
  • Stakeholder Management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build positive peer relationships. Ensure that marketing continues to foster relationships of trust and resepct with internal and external partners.
  • Finance Management. Understand budget process and key financial dates and operationalize monthly invoicing as appropriate and directed by line manager

Role Qualifications

Applicant Requirements:

It is important that the successful candidate can demonstrate capability in both creative copywriting and use of design tools and software – these skills will be tested in the interview process. Experience in a corporate structure and working in an integrated marketing team is preferred.  

Suggested Criteria For Applying:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or creative roles
  • Tertiary qualified in Business/Commerce or Marketing
  • Intermediate understanding of marketing channels, including any of paid media, social media and lifecycle marketing
  • Intermediate skills across core creative design tools and software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma)
  • Can execute assigned/routine tasks (e.g. prepares reports, communicates results) and follow clear procedures and guidance
  • Can deliver tasks independently with accuracy, proactivity and punctuality.
  • Collaborative partner, particularly with third party/external suppliers
