What are we looking for?

The Assistant Business Project Manager will support the Tech PMO in planning, executing, and closing projects within a business context. This role involves coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and is eager to learn about business operations and project management methodologies.

What are we expecting from this role?

  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate tasks and activities among team members and stakeholders.
  • Analyze and document business processes, system workflows, and user requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment of business objectives with IT capabilities.
  • Track project progress and performance metrics. Provide training and support to end-users on new systems, processes, or tools.
  • Assist in the development and testing of software solutions and system enhancements based on business needs.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks or issues to the Project Manager. Assist in developing and implementing solutions.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business analysis and project management or process improvement roles.
  • Strong ability to analyze business processes and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Burmese and English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, or similar).
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience in project management or software implementation.
