Staff Program/Project Manager

About Our Group:

Seagate's Operations Quality & Analytics organization helps to protect and improve Seagate’s Total Customer Experience Develop, deploy, and sustain End-To-End Quality Analytics and Processes to provide trusted, actionable information enabling earlier detection and prevention of HDD issues. Reliability is a subgroup of OQ&A to protect HDD quality & reliability thru: 1). Comprehensive & effective test system within Reliability lab, 2). Utilize predictive data analysis approach, 3). Perform accurate field prediction via reliability model.

About The Role - You Will:

• Manage HDD Product Reliability Performance throughout the product life cycle.
• Coordinate with team to ensure Reliability test plan meet the requirement and expectation.
• Working with FA for root cause understanding and failures follow up.
• Apply End to End data analytics for the root cause finding and validation. 
• Utilize models to identify reliability risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communication performance, status to internal/ external customers and executive management.

About You:

•    A successful candidate must have a body of work that demonstrates the Seagate core values of integrity, inclusion, and innovation
•    Disc drive fundamental understanding 
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities
•    Willingness to work closely with the international teams as well as the local teams
•    Fluent in English 

Your Experience Includes:

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Engineering, Statistics, and/or relevant experience. 
•    Knowledge of reliability engineering and analysis.
•    Internal and external customer communication and customer service experience.
•    Experience managing priorities.

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
