Electrical Engineer

Position Objective:

Follow New Product Development /i2V(Cost down)/ process and requirements to deliver Starter and Control panel design for compressor products, like Star-Delta, VSD drive, soft starter and so forth.

Responsibilities:

1. Define new product project’s CTQs, DFMEA, and DVPR of Electrical. Design electrical system(Low voltage components, VFD, Sensor, Starter Box & PLC Coding) and released electrical BOM. Verify new products design and solve problems. Ensure new product projects meet QDC requirements.
2. Identify VAVE opportunities and drive products cost down;
3. According to customer requirement, provide solution with reliable design and reasonable cost;
4. Ensure all design meet regional codes;
5. Work with suppliers and clarify requirements/codes/standards;
6. Analyze quality issue, address root cause and provide professional solution;

Qualifications:

1. 1.      Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering or equivalent required
2. 2.      At least 5 years experience in electrical control design.
3. 3.      Be familiar with contactor, Fuse, Solid state starter, VFD, PLC control
4. 4.      Be familiar with motor qualification and application                                                                                
5. 5.      Be familiar with relative electrical codes for GB, CE and UL
6. 6.      Be familiar with common office software application and design tool AUTOCAD.
7. 7.      Strong trouble shooting skills in electrical control.
