Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Administrator who is highly skilled, proactive, and driven to ensure the stability and security of a large-scale cloud environment. In this role, you will take ownership of the design, implementation, and ongoing management of AWS infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud ecosystem that supports critical business applications and operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage core AWS resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Administer and maintain both Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers deployed in cloud environments.
  • Proactively apply system patches, updates, and configuration changes to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize availability and efficiency across all managed servers.
  • Track, document, and report on vulnerability remediation progress to ensure audit and compliance readiness.
  • Participate in investigations of potential or actual security incidents impacting the infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to share technical insights, provide progress updates, and support ongoing operations and security projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience, covering areas such as system architecture, infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
  • Cloud Expertise: At least 4 years of dedicated, hands-on AWS Cloud Administration experience.
  • Proven proficiency with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
  • Strong background in managing Windows and RHEL servers in production environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
  • Experience documenting and tracking compliance-related activities such as remediation and audit reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate independently or as part of a team.
