We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in expanding our mission.

The Business Development Manager will be a key driver of our company's growth, responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the healthcare sector. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, deep healthcare industry knowledge, and proven sales expertise. You will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and building lasting relationships with key decision-makers.  This position will report directly to CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and target new business opportunities within healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health systems, and large physician groups.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and lead qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Market Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform and refine our sales and business development strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless and effective sales process.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management or senior-level role.
  • Required: Significant experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare management, operations, and the decision-making processes of healthcare organizations.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business opportunities and market trends.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

This position requires approximately 50% travel to meet with clients and prospects.
