Contribute to the overall success of the Compliance Engineering team in supporting Global Banking and Markets Compliance programs in the Trade Surveillance space.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead and support the implementation of technology solutions and enhancements for Trade Surveillance systems
- Elicit and document requirements for project and enhancement requests
- Manage and provide ongoing production support (system integration, perform initial diagnosis, fix issues, and suggest robust solutions) – strive for continuous improvements to operations and track against KPIs
- Manage vendor relationships
- Primary technology point of contact, and trusted advisor for GBM Compliance business owner(s) and users for the applicable system
- Actively build and maintain a strong working relationship with business and technology partners
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables through
- Participation in the production of implementation strategies
- Creation of procedural documents to support users (guidelines, job aid etc.)
- Assistance in conducting post implementation reviews
- Managing project timelines

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 2-5 years in Business Analyst role within a Financial Services Institution with experience in overseeing support functions and maintaining systems
- A recognize undergraduate degree or diploma in information technology
- Experience working with third-party vendors
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate business requirements to technical teams
- Analytical and detail oriented. Ability to solve technical problems/processes and understand complex details
- Possess a good understanding of current IT practices, systems development techniques especially requirements specification and testing methodologies and keep current with rapidly changing technology
- Knowledge of financial instruments (e.g. equities or fixed income, and corresponding derivatives including options, credit default/total return swaps, futures) would be an asset
