Job Opening: CRM Implementation Consultant 

Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid 

Engagement Type: Independent Consultant - Contract (1099) 

Duration: Approximately 6 months, part-time, with potential to extend  

Role Overview

Our World Energy (OWE), a fast-growing solar energy company with 750+ employees, is preparing to launch a new CRM system build (estimated 8–16 months). To support this initiative, we are seeking a CRM Implementation Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor. 

The "CRM Implementation Consultant" will assess OWE’s current processes, guide leadership in selecting the right CRM solution, and develop a roadmap for successful implementation. This is not only about vetting vendors, it’s about deeply understanding OWE’s business needs and helping us choose and adopt a platform that can serve us for years to come. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a business needs assessment across key departments.
• Advise leadership on CRM platform selection aligned with scalability and long-term goals.
• Develop a high-level implementation roadmap (timeline, milestones, best practices).
• Provide training and guidance to ensure effective adoption.
• Support vendor evaluation, demos, and negotiations as needed.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform real-time adjustments to ensure smooth functionality and user experience.
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security protocols post-implementation.
• Work closely with internal teams (IT, operations, finance) to gather requirements and ensure CRM solutions meet cross-functional needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CRM consultant or advisor, with successful end-to-end CRM selection and implementation projects. 
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive stakeholder alignment. 
• Proficiency with leading CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or Microsoft Dynamics. 
• Experience advising mid-sized or high-growth organizations; exposure to the solar or energy industry is a plus. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with executive teams.
• Available to support OWE leadership on a part-time, flexible schedule.

• Training documentation or vendor negotiation support

Engagement Details

• Engagement Type: 1099 Independent Consultant (not a W-2 employee) 
• Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours 
• Work Structure: Primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings in Phoenix, AZ (must be local to the Phoenix area)
• Duration: Approximately 6 months, potential to extend 
• Budget: $20,000–$30,000 (project-based)
