Do you want to help us bring Audi to Formula 1? You can… with an internship or final thesis at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg an der Donau. Join us as we develop the power unit that will drive our racing cars from 2026.
The internship takes at least six months and takes place full-time on site in Neuburg. In addition to unique insights into the world of motorsport, we offer fair pay and make you part of the team that brings Audi to the pinnacle of motorsports. Audi Formula Racing GmbH is a subsidiary of Audi Sport and was founded in 2022 for the brand's Formula 1 entry. A team of experts who are passionate about developing the power unit will train and support you.
The internship is currently scheduled to start in January at the earliest possible date, and to apply we need your current CV, relevant certificates, a certificate of enrollment and, if applicable, the examination regulations from your university as well as a current, official grade abstract. The "Corporate Governance / Functions" department brings together key tasks and services. These include, among others, event and partner management, internal communications, legal advisory, occupational safety, fleet management, as well as sustainability and environmental management. The General Secretariat and internal projects further complement this diverse range of responsibilities. We work in a closely connected, efficient, and goal-oriented manner – both within AFR GmbH and with our partners.

- You support the preparation, organization, and follow-up of AFR shareholder meetings and management board meetings, as well as departmental and divisional meetings at AFR-G(Z), including the application and improvement of related processes and tools.
- You assist with company-wide and department-specific projects and tasks, particularly in terms of concept development, implementation, and documentation.
- You independently create problem analyses, solution concepts, project plans, presentations, and documentation, and, if needed, content for internal communications.
- You support the updating and publication of internal AFR guidelines and processes within the department.
- You take on additional tasks to support the AFR-G team as needed, for example in the areas of communications, sustainability, or environmental management.
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related field
- Affinity for Formula 1 and motorsport
- Project management knowledge and/or experience
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Pronounced team spirit
