Are you passionate about pushing boundaries for what is possible? We are committed to technological innovation and excellence in everything we do. PULSE Electronics Corporation, a YAGEO Group company, is seeking an Antenna/RF Design Engineer in Vancouver, WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, prototype, and validate antennas for vehicular, infrastructure, and smart city applications (e.g., LTE, 5G, VHF/UHF, GNSS, LMR, Wi-Fi).
- Optimize antenna performance for challenging environments (e.g., multi-band, low-profile, vehicular mount).
- Work with mechanical and other antenna engineers to ensure proper antenna integration.
- Perform testing and validation in anechoic chambers and field environments.
- Support certification and compliance processes (FCC, PTCRB, FirstNet, etc.).
- Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, and design discussions.
- Document design processes, test results, and technical reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in antenna design and RF product development.
- Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS) and measurement equipment (e.g., VNA, spectrum analyzer, chamber systems).
- Strong knowledge of antenna types: monopole, dipole, patch, helical, PCB/FPC, stamp metal, and array-based designs.
- Experience with vehicular or infrastructure antenna products is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and certifications for public safety and transportation networks.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

- Exempt - The salary range for this role is up to $100,000, based on experience.
