Job Description
The School of Applied Psychology is one of Australia’s leading schools in the discipline, with a strong reputation for quality teaching, innovative programs, and impactful engagement with community and industry.
As a Lecturer (Level B)- Clinical Psychology, you’ll contribute to the School’s teaching and research excellence. Here’s how you’ll make it matter:
- Deliver innovative, evidence-based teaching across postgraduate psychology programs.
- Foster a student-centred learning environment using technology-enhanced and authentic assessment practices.
- Engage with industry and community to support work-integrated learning and employability initiatives.
- Contribute to course and program coordination, and support continuous curriculum development.
- Undertake scholarly activity to inform and advance teaching and learning practices.
- Contribute to supervision of honours and postgraduate psychology student projects.
- Engage in research related to mental health and wellbeing.
This is a full time, fixed term position (from 24/11/2025 until 31/07/2026), based at Griffith University’s Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
- Salary Range
- The full time equivalent base salary for an Academic Level B ranges $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation.
- The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.

You Will Also Have:
- PhD (or equivalent) in clinical psychology or a related discipline.
- Registration as a psychologist in Australia (AHPRA) with area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
- Completed board approved supervisor training and eligible to provide clinical supervision.
- Demonstrated success in delivering innovative, student-focused teaching.
- Evidence of reflective and scholarly approaches to learning and teaching.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
