Overview
The Trainer (Mandarin) is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for employees, particularly those handling Mandarin-speaking customers or content. Based in Johor, this role ensures that staff are well-equipped with product knowledge, operational procedures, and communication skills to deliver high-quality service. The Trainer plays a key role in enhancing employee performance, onboarding new hires, and supporting continuous learning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Education, Communications, Linguistics, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a trainer, preferably in BPO/contact center or service environment.
- Experience delivering training in Mandarin for customer service or operational teams.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Cantonese is an advantage.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and coach participants effectively.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing employees in Mandarin.
- Deliver workshops, classroom sessions, and on-the-job coaching.
- Ensure training materials are understood and applied effectively.
- Curriculum & Material Development
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and guides in Mandarin.
- Customize content based on team needs, business updates, and client requirements.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct assessments to evaluate trainee understanding and performance.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Identify training gaps and propose solutions.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with team leaders, QA, and operations to align training with business needs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through training insights and recommendations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain records of training attendance, performance, and evaluation results.
- Prepare reports on training effectiveness and outcomes.
