Customer Trust Paralegal – London, UK
As a Customer Trust Paralegal in our office in London, UK, you will be part of the Business Legal Affairs Team. You will be responsible for managing the response process for customer-issued requests for assurance as to the risk posed by doing business with Convera. The team maintains and manages distribution of confidential information that supports the completion of the sales/buying process for new business and routine vendor risk assessments for existing customers, acting as a single point of contact on behalf of the many different teams involved in ensuring the company is compliant and safe to do business with.
We are seeking a self-motivated and process-driven individual to join our team and enthusiastically meet the needs of our customers while ensuring that the business is protected.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Communicate directly with internal stakeholders (Go To Market) and subject matter experts across the business to address routine and ad hoc customer-issued requests for information surrounding Convera’s business practices and alignment to regulatory and industry standards.
- Collaborate cross functionally on the Customer Trust process and build strong relationships with teams across the organization (e.g. cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, legal, product etc.), developing new materials where gaps are identified to respond to customer demand and sharing best practices and learnings on trends.
- Coordinate, qualify and prioritize a high-volume queue of due diligence requests.
- Own the completion of customer-issued due diligence questionnaires covering key risk topics such as cybersecurity, operational resilience and privacy.
- Maintain up to date content library and secure distribution of confidential Convera documentation (e.g. financial statements, audit reports, policies, insurance certificates) in response to customer requests.
- Maintain and update Customer Trust trackers to ensure accurate reporting of customer types, revenue etc.
- Complete Customer Trust process improvement tasks working with stakeholders across the business to ensure a streamlined approach.
- Provide support on RFPs involving due diligence aspects where required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You should apply if you have:
- Degree qualification from a university in the UK (preferably in Law), or equivalent degree.
- Experience in process improvement and working in legal operations and/or legal support services.
- Stakeholder management: ability to forge strong relationships at all levels and across all areas of the business.
- Time management: ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Communication skills: fluent in English, ability to write clearly and concisely in a customer-facing way.
- Customer-champion: centering the customer and considering their needs.
- Process-focused with the ability to enhance processes and provide feedback for improvement.
- Tech driven and able to embed new tech efficiencies for legal processes.
- Experience of working in fintech/financial services a plus.
