Job Description
Join the Stanly Ranch team as our Engineering Supervisor, a role that will allow you to lead and train engineering team members in all technical and non-technical areas. This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Guide team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering (DOE) for any notable performance or corrective action.
- Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests and vendors.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairs.
- Assume responsibilities as needed of the DOE and Chief Engineer in their absence.
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system
- Respond to all Guest Requests within a timely manner
- Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations
- Follow established safety procedures
- Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs
- The starting range for this position is $39.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician, preferably within a hotel or property management environment
- High school diploma or equivalent, Technical school desired
- Must be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment
- Need to be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts, materials, and necessary tools
- Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Engineer Manager.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-lingual - Spanish preferred
Experience With Gsuite
Prior Hospitality Experience
