Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their challenges, business objectives, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct technical discussions and assessments to identify opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Design customized solutions tailored to meet customer needs and address specific pain points.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concepts (PoCs) to showcase the value proposition of our Edge Network line of products.
  • Stay up-to-date on our product portfolio, features, and capabilities, as well as industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Provide training and enablement sessions to sales teams and customers on Edge Network products, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to build technical proposals, architectures, and responses to customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and technical resource throughout the sales process.
  • Engage with existing customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive customer retention and expansion.

Qualifications

We Expect You To Have:

  • Solid conceptual knowledge of the Web in general and its underlying protocols (e.g., Anycast, BGP, DNS, HTTP/2/3, TCP/UDP, TLS).
  • Understanding of global routing, load balancing, and traffic management concepts.
  • Understanding of security technologies and solutions, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP stack, relevant servers and “media” protocols (e.g., Nginx, QUIC, HLS/CMAF) is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales or pre-sales roles, with a focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Gcore’s Edge Network services to provide strategic advice and context to customers.
  • Participate in performance reviews, service escalations, and roadmap discussions as a knowledgeable advocate for customer needs.
