What will your role be?
As an Inventory Control Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring accuracy across inventory systems, and supporting the efficiency of the supply chain through data-driven analysis. You will collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure inventory practices align with organizational goals and international standards such as ISO.
Job Description
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels across locations to ensure accuracy, availability, and alignment with demand forecasts
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems and reports to support inventory planning and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to manage inventory flow and optimize stock levels
- Investigate and resolve root causes of inventory variances and recommend process improvements to reduce errors
- Ensure inventory practices and documentation comply with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed inventory performance reports and present findings to management to guide strategic decision-making
- Assist in developing and enforcing inventory control policies and procedures across departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
- 2–6 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related roles within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, forecasting methods, and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other ISO quality standards and best practices in inventory documentation and control
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and inventory management software
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to identify trends and root causes
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma are a plus
