Product Owner - Generative AI

You'll lead the expansion of GenAI innovation from the core AI team into multiple Prosus companies, helping them discover, experiment, and scale their own AI-powered solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and enablement - ideal for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and hands-on problem-solving.
Who we're looking for
A technically fluent Product Manager with a passion for turning AI experiments into business impact. You understand how LLMs create value, can reason through data and system choices, and love translating complex technology into practical, real-world applications. You're a communicator, an orchestrator, and can turn ideas into shipped results.

What You'Ll Do

• Orchestrate the core AI team’s efforts: Oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of the team’s initiatives to ensure clear progress, accountability, and alignment with partner-company goals - delivering timely, high-quality support for adoption and experimentation.
• Lead a multi-company adoption program: Plan and coordinate rollouts across Prosus portfolio companies, from onboarding to first production use cases.
• Educate and enable stakeholders: Deliver demos, workshops, and ideation sessions that help teams identify high-value GenAI opportunities.
• Scope first use cases: Work with local teams to define MVPs, success criteria, and experimentation plans - then oversee A/B testing and validation.
• Assess data readiness: Evaluate data quality, access, and privacy constraints; define what's needed to start experimentation responsibly.
• Gauge technical maturity: Understand each company's team structure and capabilities to design an effective collaboration model.
• Be hands-on when needed: Explore data, prototype prompts, test LLM outputs, and help shape evaluation approaches.
• Stay informed on emerging GenAI methods and tools: Track new models, frameworks, and evaluation techniques to guide teams toward the most effective solutions.
• Build the playbook: Capture what works (and what doesn't) from each experiment and turn it into guidance that others can reuse and improve.
• Communicate with clarity: Craft clear, concise updates for executives, engineers, and business leaders alike.

What You'Ll Bring

• 3+ years of product management experience in AI-driven or data-intensive products.
• Strong technical fluency in generative AI concepts (prompts, embeddings, evaluation), with enough hands-on comfort to prototype or analyze outcomes independently - without being an engineer.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with technical, data, and business stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset and experience designing and interpreting experiments or A/B tests.
• Awareness of responsible AI and data privacy principles, ensuring experimentation and deployment adhere to safe and compliant practices.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfort with ambiguity - you thrive in fast-moving environments where playbooks are still being written.

Bonus Points For

• Experience launching or scaling GenAI products.
• Familiarity with enterprise data, governance, and privacy standards.
• Background in commerce, marketplaces, or operations-focused AI applications.
• Prior experience working in enablement programs that support multiple business units.
• Degree in computer science
