Rockstar Leeds is on the lookout for a Production Coordinator that specialises in Data Analytics to join our Art Production department and assist in making some of the most highly respected and widely recognised AAA titles in video games.
This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s unique game development studio in the heart of Leeds, England.
What We Do
- Production Coordinators work to improve global communication between various disciplines of Art, Code and Design to ensure there is a clear workflow, with transparency of moving parts, to our fellow developers.
- We proactively use knowledge and experience to develop data models, reports, and analyses to identify and solve problems before they affect our development teams.
- We collaborate with artists, leads and directors to schedule, track and complete team goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support to the Art Production team.
- Collaborate in the design, delivery and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
- Use SQL and Snowflake to retrieve data for our reporting systems.
- Create and maintain effective production reports and documentation.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- Maintain an active awareness of team goals and timelines.
- Assist in tracking, prioritising and scheduling tasks using our in-house project management tools.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or other related technical or project management subjects.
- 2+ years of direct experience designing data pipelines and transforming data into actionable insights through Power BI (or similar), SQL, and Snowflake.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Python, MongoDB and SQL.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience hosting meetings and presentations.
- Experience contributing to the maintenance of a project plan and schedule with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Capable of working closely in a team setting and cross departmentally.
- Eagerness to learn new workflows and software tools across all aspects of the development process.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Pluses
Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.
- Experience with R, Shotgrid, Figma or Bug Tracking software i.e. (Monday, Jira, Hansoft).
- Knowledge of Project management methodologies i.e. (Scrum, Kanban, Six Sigma).
- Production experience working in games, entertainment, tech or similar creative industry.
