Job Description

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Bilue, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team that brings bold ideas to life. Your craft will shape apps that are not just fast and reliable, but a joy for people to use every day.

Working side by side with our clients, you’ll turn their vision into elegant, scalable solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reliable, high-performance iOS applications
• Work closely with clients to translate their business needs into technical outcomes
• Ensure seamless integration with back-end services and cloud platforms
• Optimise for performance, responsiveness and user experience with clean, scalable code
• Champion agile delivery - sprint planning, story refinement, task breakdown and continuous improvement
• Maintain code quality through peer reviews, unit testing and automation
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
• Lead by example in adopting emerging iOS frameworks and best practices

Qualifications

You’re an experienced iOS engineer who combines technical excellence with agile collaboration.
You bring:

• A strong track record delivering large-scale, production iOS apps
• Deep skills in Swift (and Objective-C where needed)
• Hands-on with the latest iOS tech: SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, structured concurrency, WidgetKit, Core Animation
• Integration experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven ability with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane) and release management (TestFlight, App Store Connect)
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative dev workflows
• Experience with unit, UI and snapshot testing to ensure quality at pace
• Agile delivery mindset — you’re comfortable with relative estimation, sprint cadences and continuous delivery
• Active engagement in the iOS developer community (meetups, OSS, conferences)
• A passion for benchmarking, optimisation and making apps feel fast, polished and reliable
