Genesis Diagnostic Technician (Electrical & Drivability Specialist)

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Flat Rate: $40.00+ (DOE) | Sign-On Bonus (DOE)

What You’Ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and drivability issues in vehicles.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify engine, transmission, sensor, and computer controlled system problems.
• Ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with service advisors to explain repairs and recommendations.
• Stay updated on technical updates and manufacturer procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What You’Ll Need:

• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience (dealership experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engine performance, and drivability diagnostics.
• Proficient in using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair software.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• ASE certifications in Electrical/Electronic Systems (A6) and Engine Performance (A8) preferred.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
