About The Position
Flora Food Group is on an exciting journey of growth and expansion, and we are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our high-performing regional team. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and gain deep exposure across multiple markets, shaping the financial future of one of the fastest-growing regions.
As part of our commercial finance team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end financial planning and analysis, driving insights, and influencing key strategic decisions across the region. With full exposure to P&L delivery and senior stakeholders, this is a career-defining role for an ambitious finance professional ready to make an impact.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support fact-based decision making.
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring best-in-class commercial finance support.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to drive business efficiency.
- Prepare and interpret category and customer-level performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Drive business cases for new product launches, market entries, and capex investments—from preparation through to post-evaluation.
- Investigate variances, trends, and anomalies across sales, margins, and costs to drive transparency and corrective actions.
- Provide trade spend analysis to optimize investment with customers.
- Consolidate and present financial insights and commentary to senior regional leadership.
- Support the annual budget and forecasting cycle with accurate and timely consolidated outputs.
- Actively contribute to sales and operations planning, identifying key trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Enable cross-functional teams with financial guidance and budgetary insights.
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with regional teams to implement new reporting tools, streamline processes, and maintain high-quality master data.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required
- We’re looking for a commercially sharp, results-driven finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is eager to grow with us.
- Qualified finance professional with at least 2 years of experience in commercial finance/FP&A.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting.
- Prior FMCG/Retail or consumer goods experience is a strong advantage.
- Advanced systems knowledge: Excel, Power BI, SAP (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and presentation skills—able to simplify complexity and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working in matrix and cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic insight and operational detail.
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and driven to deliver impactful commercial outcomes.
