Fireside Market Facilities Technician (Crandon, WI location)

Here'S What You'Ll Be Doing:

• Complete outdoor housekeeping functions (using outdoor power equipment) including cleaning, sweeping, power washing, picking up and emptying trash, shoveling, plowing, and keeping sidewalks/parking lots safe.
• Work with a variety of cleaning supplies and chemical spills, salt, spill absorbents, etc.
• Inspect the tags and gauges on fire extinguishers
• Ensure execution of established safety, security and store operating policies, procedures, andpractices as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Communicate with management regarding facility issues and concerns. Enter repair requests asneeded.
• Perform a weekly check by manually inspecting nozzles and hoses. Perform monthly inspectionon dispensers, spill bucket and other components in the fuel court to ensure safe workingconditions. Log information.
• Wipe down the fuel area (pumps, trash, valets) with cleaning chemicals. Restock all fuel areasupplies and products.
• Replace receipt paper and ensure the credit card payment area has not been tampered with.
• Clear oil and gas spills in accordance with all safety standards.
• Properly dispose of hazardous materials and document clean up in gasoline compliance binderwhen applicable,
• Use personal protective equipment as required
• Maintain building grounds in all seasons including but not limited to snow removal and lawncare.
• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on all necessary equipment.
• Troubleshoots electrical, HVAC, and plumbing problems.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies.
• Contributes effort to the team and attends training courses and/or seminars on related materials.
• Cross-Train for other areas and duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Here's what you'll need to be successful: 

• The preferred education for this role is a high school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
• Two years of general maintenance experience or related field.
• Successfully pass a background check (including MVR) and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must obtain Class A/B UST Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Skill in operating basics office machines to include Windows based computers and copy machines
• Ability to work extended hours as needed
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

While performing duties on this job, employees regularly is required to stand, use hands to finger, feel and touch, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The frequent operation of heavy equipment is also required. Evening, graveyard, holiday, and/or weekend work may be required, Extended hours and irregular shifts will be required with a flexible work schedule during snow removal season, There is also frequent interaction with the public.
