IL Phlebotomist Lead

Job Overview:

Collects and processes specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs clerical duties including data entry, ordering tests, diagnosis entry, retrieval and distribution of results. Maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements. Demonstrates competence in care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Assists as needed in all laboratory areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care.

Requirements:

• Phlebotomist Certificate (preferred). 
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 
• One or two years’ experience required. 
• CPR BLS Card from the AHA within 90 days. 

Compensation:

Hourly Range - $17.00 - $25.50

Incentives:

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
