Job Description

This position is responsible for acting as the main contact person to customers for eAxle engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Actively engaging customers for engineering discussions during the acquisition phase (RFQ analysis, technical response, product explanation, etc.)
  • Providing required engineering support at customer sites throughout the project development cycle
  • Conducting comprehensive requirement engineering for eAxle systems
  • Performing eAxle-related measurements on vehicles and deriving conclusions based on data analysis
  • Actively driving engineering activities and fostering synergy with cross-functional teams
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for eAxle systems, including specifications, design documents, and user manuals
  • Collaborating with R&D teams to incorporate customer feedback into product improvements and new designs
  • Conducting technical presentations and training sessions for customers on eAxle technology and applications
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing timely solutions to customer inquiries
  • Participating in industry conferences and events to stay updated on the latest trends in electric vehicle technology
  • Contributing to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for eAxle system integration
  • Coordinating with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure product reliability and performance
  • Assisting in the creation of technical proposals and cost estimates for new customer projects
  • Monitoring competitor products and technologies to maintain the company's competitive edge in the eAxle market
  • Supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise during customer negotiations and product demonstrations

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive system engineering activities with a focus on electrification
  • Strong knowledge of eAxle systems and electric vehicle technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction
  • Proven experience in requirement engineering and system integration
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of vehicle measurements
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Experience with electric vehicle drivetrain systems and components
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations
  • Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools
  • Project management experience in the automotive sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience in conducting technical presentations and training sessions
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex engineering issues
  • Knowledge of competitor products and market trends in eAxle technology
  • Willingness to travel for on-site customer support and industry events
